If you don’t have a web host yet, consider using our Novonode affiliate link. Novonode provides reliable, high-quality hosting at an affordable price. We recommend their Starter plan. It’s easy to set up and gives you everything needed to get your website online quickly.
Start by choosing and purchasing the domain name you want to use for your website. You can buy it from Namecheap or any other domain provider. Once purchased, it should appear in your dashboard with a "Manage" button. Click "Manage" and look for the Custom Nameservers section. Keep this page open you will need it again in the next step.
Choose your preferred hosting provider and select a plan - usually the cheapest starter plan is enough to run your website. During the purchase, make sure to enter the domain you bought in the previous step. After successfully buying the hosting plan, keep your hosting panel open as you’ll need to access it again to connect your domain.
Go back to your domain provider dashboard, click "Manage" on your domain, and find the Custom Nameservers option. Now, in your hosting panel, find the nameservers provided by your host (usually something like "ns1.hosting.com") and copy all of them to your domain provider. Save the changes. This will connect your domain to your hosting, making your website accessible online. (this process may take up to 24 hours, but is usually fully finished with-in an hour)
To upload your website files, log in to your hosting panel and click "Login to Cpanel". Inside Cpanel, open "File Manager" to access your webhost's root files. Locate and open the public_html folder - this is where your website files need to go. Extract the downloaded website template to your PC, then select all HTML files and the assets folder and compress them into a ZIP file. Upload this ZIP file using the "Upload" button in public_html. Once the upload is complete, right-click the ZIP file and choose "Extract", After extraction, you should see the assets folder and all HTML files. Your website is now uploaded and ready for editing.
