If you donβt have a web host yet, consider using our Novonode affiliate link. Novonode provides reliable, high-quality hosting at an affordable price. We recommend their Starter plan. Itβs easy to set up and gives you everything needed to get your website online quickly.
Start by choosing and purchasing the domain name you want to use for your website. You can buy it from Namecheap or any other domain provider. Once purchased, it should appear in your dashboard with a "Manage" button. Click "Manage" and look for the Custom Nameservers section. Keep this page open you will need it again in the next step.
β Go to NameCheap and purchase your domain
β Go to your Dashboard and click "Manage" on your domain
β Look for the Custom Nameservers section and keep this page open
Choose your preferred hosting provider and select a plan - usually the cheapest starter plan is enough to run your website. During the purchase, make sure to enter the domain you bought in the previous step. After successfully buying the hosting plan, keep your hosting panel open as youβll need to access it again to connect your domain.
β Choose and purchase a webhosting package
β Open your host's Knowledgebase and search for Nameservers
β Keep the page open
Go back to your domain provider dashboard, click "Manage" on your domain, and find the Custom Nameservers option. Now, in your hosting panel, find the nameservers provided by your host (usually something like "ns1.hosting.com") and copy all of them to your domain provider. Save the changes. This will connect your domain to your hosting, making your website accessible online. (this process may take up to 24 hours, but is usually fully finished with-in an hour)
β Copy the nameservers from your host and paste them onto the Custom Nameservers section on NameCheap
β Save the new Nameservers
β Your domain will be connected with-in around 30 minutes
To upload your website files, log in to your hosting panel and click "Login to Cpanel". Inside Cpanel, open "File Manager" to access your webhost's root files. Locate and open the public_html folder - this is where your website files need to go. Extract the downloaded website template to your PC, then select all HTML files and the assets folder and compress them into a ZIP file. Upload this ZIP file using the "Upload" button in public_html. Once the upload is complete, right-click the ZIP file and choose "Extract", After extraction, you should see the assets folder and all HTML files. Your website is now uploaded and ready for editing.
β Go to your hosting dashboard and login to your cpanel account
β Open the File Manager and navigate to the public_html folder
β Upload the website files (HTML + Assets folder) to the public_html folder
β Your website should now appear online through your domain
